We listen, act, and transform
I'm Josh and I provide therapeutic counseling to individuals, couples, and families. I offer competent, compassionate, and ethical care to people from all walks of life. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients struggling with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, substance use and process addictions, as well as severe and persistent mental illness. I am trained in cognitive processing therapy and use CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, MBSR, Expressive Writing, and Narrative Therapy to name a few.
My approach to therapy is person-centered and grounded in the belief that you are capable of becoming your best. I focus on recognizing and amplifying your strengths while supporting you in tapping into your inherent ability to create meaningful and lasting change. I am nonjudgmental and supportive but also practical and solution-focused.
My decision to become a therapist was deeply influenced by my service in the United States Marine Corps where I developed a profound desire to help others navigate life’s challenges and where I witnessed firsthand the resiliency and courage within each person. I came to understand that every individual, no matter their circumstances, is able to overcome!
